Course Overview
Taught by Dr. Christine Cannon, DAHM, this online course is module 1 of four modules to be taught over the course of the coming year. The modules are designed for upper level students and practitioners who wish to take their knowledge and clinical efficacy to a new level by effectively treating menstrual cycle disorders. Participants will learn how to use acupuncture, diet, and herbal formulas to treat menstrual cycle irregularities, and conditions such as amenorrhea, dysmenorrhea, Endometriosis, fibroids, Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS), Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), perimenopause, menopause. Module 4 of the series is dedicated to treating infertility and assisted reproduction techniques (ART). Case studies will be incorporated into lectures to provide clinical examples of the theoretical principles covered.
All four modules can be taken at any time however, it is recommended that module 1 is taken before modules 2, 3, and 4 as it provides a strong foundation of knowledge that can be applied in the subsequent modules.
